there are no scapegoats
no menageries on life-boats
no sacrifice of lambs,
doves, kids, bulls or rams
no saviours, no masters
no messiahs,
no priests, no prophets
no outcast pariahs
no plagues, no curses
no temples, no churches
no end of the world
- and no Elijahs

in the playground within
there are no anti-christs, no fallen stars
no holy Sees, Ceasers, Kaisers or Czars
no aliens in motherships
no Armageddon apocalypse
no book of life, no second coming
in the playground within it’s
endless loving
